Shop

The section is for managing the product range and stock: here you create products and their groups, track stock and record warehouse operations. The section has eight tabs, and Warehouses opens first.

The section opens from

in the left menu.

Tabs

Product range:

  • Warehouses — the places where products are stored. Each warehouse shows its name, type, branch and status. Created with the

    button.

  • Products — the list of items available for sale. Each shows its name, barcode, status, reward, cost, price, type and group.

  • Bundles — items that combine several products and are sold as one.

  • Product Groups — the sections that sort products on the cashier's screen. You can change the order of groups and of products inside a group: open a product group to sort it.

Stock tracking:

  • Stock Movement — the history of stock operations: date, item name, transaction type, starting and ending quantity, warehouse and operator.

  • Stock Count — stock counts. Each shows the date, warehouse, branch, operator, type, number of records, shortage and surplus.

  • Warehouse Operations — operations with stock: date, branch, warehouse, type, operator, status and quantity.

  • Product Stock — the current quantity of each item with its group, type, barcode, branch and warehouse.

How it fits together

A product is created on the Products tab and belongs to one of the product groups; the group defines which tab the item appears on in the Sales screen. The product quantity is tracked in a warehouse: a sale deducts the item, an incoming delivery adds to the stock, and a stock count brings the recorded data in line with the actual quantities.
