Interface
This section describes the permanent elements of Gizmo Manager — the ones you see on every page of the app, whatever section the operator is in.
The interface has three parts. On the left, at full height, is the navigation panel with the sections. At the top is a narrow bar with the search field in the center and the notifications icon and the operator menu on the right. The rest of the page shows the content of the selected section.
The static elements of the interface let you:
switch between sections with the navigation panel;
quickly find a guest, a host or a product in the search bar without opening the matching section;
see guests' help requests and new orders in the notifications as soon as they appear;
manage your own operator account — change the password, change the theme or sign out.
What it consists of
Navigation panel — a vertical bar along the left edge. It holds the fourteen sections of the app, from Map to Orders. The current section is highlighted.
Search — a field at the top center of the screen. It searches four types of records at once: users, hosts, products and time products. You can act right from the search results — for example, log a guest in on a PC or top up their deposit.
Notifications — the bell icon in the top right corner, to the left of the operator's name. It opens a window with two sections: system events and help requests from guests. The number of items is shown next to each name.
Operator menu — the account name in the top right corner. It opens a list of actions: change the password, switch between the light and dark theme, sign out.
Support widget — a way to contact Gizmo technical support.
